Session 1: The Entrepreneurial Architect
Host: Arq. Monique Lugo Description: This session challenges the traditional “launching your own firm” narrative to prove that our profession needs more strategic leaders and fewer small practices fragmenting the market’s impact. Through the lens of “The Intrapreneurial Architect,” we will explore how to exercise an ownership mentality by mastering finances, operations, and business development from within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Drawing from experience, participants will learn how to leverage existing infrastructure to design the future without the burnout of starting from zero. Learning Objectives: • Attendees will learn collaborative executive leadership by applying business fundamentals—specifically financial management, rainmaking, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation—from within to drive collective profitability and personal career equity moving away
-
