Emotionally Challenging Research and Researcher Well-being (IN-PERSON)

Emotionally Challenging Research and Researcher Well-being (IN-PERSON)

Overview

An opportunity to share your experiences and meet like-minded researchers from across the University.

This is a HYBRID event. You are booking for the IN-PERSON version. Please click here to book for the ONLINE version.

  • Are you involved in research activities that focus on sensitive issues for you and/or your participants?
  • How do you manage your own well-being and what support is on offer?

In recognition of the large number of staff and PGRS occupied with real-world societal issues, this collaborative support group is designed to create a safe space in which to discuss problems and solutions. Following on from last year's exploratory meeting, this will now become a regular opportunity to share your experiences, meet like-minded researchers from across the university and contribute to the development of support mechanisms.

Please note - topics under discussion may be sensitive, so the session will be led with the welfare of those present in mind.

This session is open to staff and postgraduate research students.
