A webinar focused on addressing racial inequity in Covid-19 recovery

<h3>As we approach the ‘opening up’ of another lockdown and look towards recovery, how will the inequality that has been experienced by so many, especially black, Asian and minority ethnic communities, be addressed?</h3><h3>The Race Equity Collaborative project will build a narrative across seven collaborative areas focused on solutions regarding health and race inequalities.  This is the first of two webinars seeking to influence the Covid-19 recovery plans focused on employment.</h3><h3>Chaired by Tracey Bignall, Senior Policy and Practice Officer at Race Equality Foundation</h3><h3>Commissioned paper presented by Carla Ayrton, Senior Researcher at New Policy Institute</h3><h3>This webinar on employment will:</h3><h3>•	Present evidence about the inequalities experienced by black, Asian and minority ethnic people in employment .</h3><h3>•      Explore the evidence of racial inequalities and the impact of the pandemic on employment for people from these backgrounds</h3><h3>•	Discuss and debate issues for policy makers to consider to ensure they address the inequalities experienced by black, Asian and minority ethnic communities in employment.</h3><h3><strong>Who should attend?</strong></h3><h3>This event is of interest to policy makers, academics, practitioners across the voluntary and statutory sector, working to support black, Asian and minority ethnic families, and individuals from these communities. </h3><h3>Further information about the project is available on the <a href="https://raceequalityfoundation.org.uk/project/a-collaborative-evidence-led-framing-of-recovery-from-covid-19-that-addresses-racial-inequality/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">webpage </a>and follow us on twitter @raceequality</h3>
