The Empowered to Lead conference is a celebration and point of inspiration of  Black Female Professionals and Allies. We welcome all Black women and Allies who are committed to driving positive change.

What time do I need to be at the venue?

We encourage you to arrive at the venue between 8:15am-9am to grab your breakfast and get the best seats!

Do I need to spend the night? What’s the cost of hotels in the area?

Accepted Answer

There are several hotels in close proximity to the Lowry Theatre. The need to spend the night depends on the distance you will be travelling from to the venue.

Is there parking nearby?

The Lowry does not have its own car park however parking is available at the Quayside multi-storey car park (formally Lowry Outlet).

The nearest car parks are:
-Quayside MediaCityUK, M50 3TY
-Pitch Car Park, MediaCityUK, M50 2EQ
-Blue Badge Holders: Spaces at the Quayside MediaCityUK car park

By Tram – Use the Eccles line and the MediaCityUK line. Visit Metrolink’s website or call them on 0161 205 2000.
By Bus – Check bus routes and timetables with TfGM at tfgm.com or call 0161 205 2000 before you travel.
By Train – For the latest train timetables, visit: TransPennine Express | Northern.
