Discover the inspiration behind Frances Disley's artworks as she delves into the stories they tell. Disley’s work explores the harmonious coexistence found in the natural world; the new commission for Liverpool Cathedral has been inspired by wildlife in the local area. Plants collected from Childwall woods have been incorporated into the design of the work, and are used to celebrate nature’s essence, prompting reflection on humanity’s connection to nature. Disley’s talk will expand on the themes present in her works and give an exclusive insight into her creative process.
Tickets are priced at £15 per person. They include a welcome drink and three canapés inspired by Disley’s artwork and specially created by our head chef. Sip on a glass of Prosecco or sparkling elderflower as you immerse yourself into an exclusive private viewing of Infinite Encounters after hours.
