The role of the Learning Network is to equip and resource the Church through a wide range of contextually relevant learning and development opportunities. Sharing responsibility with others within the Connexional Team and key stakeholders within the districts, circuits and churches.

An evening  for you to learn more, meet others, and have your questions about Encounter 2022  answered.

Thank you for your interest in the Encounter programme. Encounter provides people from across the Methodist Church in Britain with the opportunity to meet regularly online over the course of several months in order to consider questions such as: <ul><li>What does it mean for me to follow Jesus today?</li><li>What are my gifts and skills?</li><li>What is God calling me to? </li><li>What part do I play in God’s mission?</li><li>How does my call fit within the Methodist tradition?</li></ul>To help you decide if this programme is right for you, we will be hosting a taster session where you can meet the programme facilitators and find out more about what participating in Encounter involves. You can also hear from people who have previously undertaken the programme, and meet other people from across the Methodist Connexion who are also interested in the programme and who are likely to make up the Encounter group.
