You are cordially invited to the launch of End Stigma Surrey, a county-wide campaign to raise awareness and reduce stigma around mental health issues. Through drama that shows the impact mental ill health has on an individual and our Lived Experience Champions, we provide training, information and activities for the workplace, education and across Surrey's diverse communities. Together we can end mental health stigma in Surrey.This event is for all residents in Surrey, including those with lived experience and health care professionals. ** refreshments will be served Please come and find out how to get involved and play your part in shaping our community for the better. End Stigma Surrey reaches out to businesses, colleges and communities, to people from different backgrounds, race, cultures and faith and across the diversity and equality spectrum.Commissioned by Surrey County Council Public Health, End Stigma Surrey (formerly Time to Change Surrey) is delivered by three well established not for profit organisations in Surrey, Catalyst, Mary Frances Trust (both of whom run Community Connections in Surrey) and Acting Out Productions which provides drama-based training and awareness raising.Patrick Wolter, CEO of the Mary Frances TrustCampaigning for better awareness of mental health and breaking stigma have always been some of our key priorities as we need to be agents of change and bring about the culture shift we need in our society.
