About this event
Stop the push-pull. Build secure connection.
Like tango, the anxious-avoidant dance is all about push and pull. From the outside it can look passionate, but inside it often feels draining. This workshop helps you step out of the cycle and into a new rhythm, one built on security and self-trust.
The anxious-avoidant pattern is one of the most common, and most painful, relationship loops. One person reaches for closeness. The other feels pressured and pulls away. Both long for connection, but the cycle leaves you anxious, guilty or stuck.
Here, you’ll decode your autopilot. You’ll map your patterns through my Pace, Power & Pleasure framework and design your own "Breaking the Cycle" Map, a tool you can use in real time to pause, get centred and choose differently.
Who This Is For
This workshop is for you if…
- You keep finding yourself in the anxious-avoidant dance: chasing, pulling away or circling back in a loop that feels exhausting.
- You’re anxiously attached and tend to share or give too much, hoping it will make you feel secure, only to end up disappointed or unseen.
- You’re avoidant and long for connection, but feel overwhelmed by intensity and worry that closeness will cost you your freedom.
- You’ve read about attachment styles, but in the heat of the moment your body still reacts before your mind can catch up.
- You want a grounded, practical way to step out of autopilot and start relating from a centred place of self-trust.
What You’ll Walk Away With
- How to spot your anxious or avoidant patterns in the moment (not just in hindsight).
- A simple practice to pause and reset before you spiral into chasing or withdrawing.
- How to use the "Breaking the Cycle" Map to reconnect to your Pace, Power and Pleasure.
- A body-based way to sense your YES/NO, so boundaries feel embodied instead of forced.
- Practical scripts to voice your needs and limits with more clarity and less guilt.
This isn’t just theory, you’ll leave with a real, repeatable tool you can use in dating, intimacy or long-term love.
What to Expect
- Gentle breathwork + grounding to arrive in the space.
- Mini-teachings on the anxious-avoidant cycle, plus real-world relational scenarios.
- Guided journaling + the "Breaking the Cycle" Map exercise.
- Optional group sharing + resonance.
- Replay access + downloadable worksheet.
❣ Meet Your Facilitator, Nyla @Unbound Relating
I’m a Certified Psychosynthesis Coach and a member of the WAX community. I’ve walked this path myself, exploring ENM, dating and lifestyle spaces while unlearning my own anxious-avoidant patterns.
After 20 years in leadership and systems work, I became a coach to help people build the emotional toolkit we were never taught: self-trust, embodied boundaries and emotional clarity.
My workshops are interactive, practical and intentionally kept small, so you get space to reflect, practice and leave with tools you can use right away.
