Endless Forms
Endless Forms is an exhibition exploring the interaction between works by artists Safia Hamidat and Annie Faichney.
The first of a series of collaborations, Endless Forms is the interaction of works by Annie Faichney and Safia Hamidat.
Hamidat’s sculptures explores the physical and psychological connection between the hand, material and machine. Through material and spatial interventions, Hamidat queries the dichotomies of visibility/concealment, protection/vulnerability and structure/informality.
Faichney's projections layer and distort images of nature, ebbing between clarity and complete abstraction. It is an invitational meditation, exploring what it is to be completely present in space, to soften into the void of the absolute right now, where form and formlessness are discernible.
Separately, both works explore form, boundaries, and the language of space. Their combination becomes an experiment in disruption as a means of creation.
Please note:
The exhibition takes place on the roof of Camphill Gate, up 4 flights of stairs.
There is no bathroom access on site.
Drinks available.
This exhibition is outside and therefore weather dependent, we will be in touch via email by 3pm if we need to postpone.
