About this event
What Makes Engage Different?
We don’t “teach” leadership. We facilitate growth, change, and reflection through:
- Active, story-led facilitation – We use stories, real-world challenges and scenario-based exercises to bring learning to life
- True engagement – Our sessions are interactive, inclusive, and participant-led. Learning by doing, reflecting, and sharing
- Use of the DiSC psychometric tool – Helping leaders build self-awareness, improve communication, and strengthen team dynamics
- Learning that sticks – focused on behavioural change beyond the programme through promoting reflective learning, accountability networks and optional follow-up support.
What’s Covered?
The ENGAGE programme consists of six modules delivered across six months. Between modules, time is allocated for reflection, learning application, and completion of assignments (for those undertaking the accredited route).
Before the programme, each participant will also be invited to complete the DiSC psychometric questionnaire and receive a personalised report. DiSC is a trusted tool for deepening self-awareness and building effective work relationships with others.
Module 1: The Role of Managers in Delivering Performance - Tuesday 14th October
We begin by helping managers reflect on their leadership identity and impact. This module explores how managers influence organisational performance, aligning personal strengths with strategic goals. We introduce emotional intelligence and communication styles as core tools for unlocking team potential and enhancing professional relationships. In this session, participants will delve deeper, together, into their DiSC reports.
Module 2: Creating High-Performing Teams - Tuesday 11th November
Great teams are built by great managers. In this module, we equip managers with essential skills to motivate, develop, and unify their teams around shared objectives. Building on Module 1, we focus on coaching techniques, effective feedback, and how to structure and lead impactful performance conversations.
Module 3: Managing Conflict in the Workplace - Tuesday 2nd December
Conflict is inevitable – but it can be constructive. This module explores how to recognise, navigate, and resolve workplace conflict in ways that strengthen trust and team cohesion. Managers will learn how to approach difficult conversations with confidence, using practical tools and real-world scenarios.
Module 4: Coaching to Empower and Inspire - Tuesday 20th January
This module shifts the manager's role from directive to developmental. Through practical coaching techniques like active listening, powerful questioning, and feedback, managers learn how to build trust, inspire ownership, and create a culture of growth and accountability that fuels long-term performance.
Module 5: Leading Through Change and Uncertainty - Tuesday 17th February
Change is both inevitable and constant. In this module, managers learn how to lead teams through both the challenges and opportunities presented by organisational change, including transformational technology trends such as AI. We’ll focus on building change readiness, reducing resistance, managing stress, and guiding people through uncertainty with empathy and vision. Managers will create action plans to lead change confidently and sustainably.
Module 6: Building Resilience for Sustainable Success - Tuesday 10th March
Resilience is key to sustaining performance in a demanding world. This module helps managers assess their own resilience, identify personal stress triggers, and develop strategies to maintain well-being under pressure. We’ll also explore how to recognise and support resilience in others, culminating in a personalised action plan for themselves and their teams.
