Description

Engagement Bites: Facilitation Trepidation:

Would you like to feel more confident doing workshop facilitation?

Develop your facilitation skills through this participatory session hosted by Ellie Shipman, Bristol's Fun Palaces Ambassador hosted by Elizabeth Blackwell Institute for Health Research at the University of Bristol. This session is for anyone looking to gain confidence, tips and support in facilitating their own public workshops and / or arts and science Fun Palaces activities.

Ellie will showcase examples of inspiring Fun Palace public workshops; provide tips on workshop facilitation, connect you with potential collaborators and support you to develop your own workshop ideas. You can also find out how to get involved in 2018’s PATTERN themed Fun Palace weekend on 6th and 7th October!

Engagement Bites is a series of informal lunch time talks organised by the Public Engagement team with the aim of sharing some of the public engagement taking place at the University and opening up conversations about it. Members of the Public Engagement team will be available after the talk to chat about your ideas for public engagement. Feel free to bring your lunch.
