Engineering UTC Easter School

Engineering UTC Northern Lincolnshire (ENL UTC) is a leading educational facility for 13-19 year olds, offering a rigorous academic environment providing students with the ideal platform for long-term achievement within STEM-based (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) curriculum. Students will be supported to exceed their expectations and maximise their life choices and can join ENL UTC at the start of Year 9 or Year 12.The ENL UTC offers specialist 'cutting-edge' equipment to bring learning to life in a setting that feels more like a workplace rather than a school. The school operates an extended day to mirror the world of work from Monday to Thursday, with an early finish on Friday. Although longer than a typical school day, most work will be completed at the UTC with limited homework and access to industry standard machinery to help with project work.

<p>Easter School gives students an early sense of the UTC’s unique blend of technical, practical and academic learning, helping them decide whether this specialist pathway is right for them. It also helps build early friendships and familiarity with the building, staff and expectations — making the September start feel much easier.</p><p>We will provide lunch. </p>
