About this course

This course aims to improve your English skills and your confidence in using these.

Our experienced staff will help you to improve your reading, writing and speaking and listening.

You will start by doing an initial assessment, in order to decide with your tutor which level you will be working at from Entry level 3 to Level 2. You will be assessed near the end of the course on these three elements and once you have completed these you will achieve a City and Guilds Functional Skills English qualification.

If you are new to learning English as a second language, an ESOL course may be more suitable for you, and these are listed on our website.

This course has been designed to be delivered online over 18 weeks, but you will be asked to attend your assessments in one of our libraries at the end of the course. Your tutor will arrange this with you.

You will require access to a laptop or PC with internet access on which group Zoom classes will be delivered by your tutor. If you may need support with this please contact Ask@inspireculture.org.uk or call 01623 677 200
