For this event we welcome Amy Teasdale, the Brand Ambassador for Spirit of Yorkshire, who will be taking us through the distillery's Filey Bay range of English single malts. Spirit of Yorkshire was the first ever whisky distillery to be registered in the county of Yorkshire and have taken the whisky world by storm since launching their inaugural whisky in 2019.
Spirit of Yorkshire is a true 'field to bottle' distillery and grow all of their barley for whisky production on a nearby farm, which is owned by the company's founders. They also boast an award-winning visitor centre and innovative whisky making team that are looking to push the boundaries of English whisky.
The tasting will take place at The Haverstock Tavern, a fabulous pub on Haverstock Hill, NW3. This is just five minutes walk from Chalk Farm underground station (Northern Line / Edgware branch). Several local bus routes also stop nearby.
The tasting will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
Please feel free to arrive early for a pre-tasting drink or bite to eat. They have a great selection of craft beers and good wine list.
No previous whisky knowledge needed, just enthusiasm and interest.
All guests are asked to Drink Responsibly.
