Enhancing Audio Description - The Screening

We're pleased to announce that we will be hosting a digital exhibition to showcase the research of the Enhancing Audio Description Project into how sound design techniques can be used to rethink accessibility to film and television for visually impaired audiences.  
We will be screening a short film with its enhanced accessible soundtrack. There will be four screenings throughout the day where each one-hour session consists of an introduction to the project, a short film screening and a Q/A session.
Sessions start at 9:30, 11:00, 13:30 and 15:00. Please only book one.  
The event will be held in a central London location, in the Millbank, Westminster area. The exact address will be revealed upon booking a ticket.
Tickets to the event are free, however, we do ask that you book tickets for the screening time which you will be attending.
 
FAQs
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
BY TUBE The event is within walking distance of both Pimlico and Vauxhall tube stations (600m and 850m), both on the Victoria Line. Alternatively, it is approximately 1,200 m from Westminster on the Jubilee, District, and Circle Lines.
BY BUS Route 87 (Millbank); Routes 88 and C10 (John Islip Street); Routes 2,36, 185, 436 (Vauxhall Bridge Road). 
BY TRAIN Vauxhall (850m) or Victoria (1,600m).
BY BIKE Cycle hire docking stations at Millbank, Rampayne Street, Vauxhall Bridge Road, and Regency Street.
BY TAXI drop off/pick up point on Millbank, outside main entrance. 
CAR Free pay and display parking at weekends on the surrounding streets. 
Accessibility
Accessible car parking on site must be booked in advance with 24hr notice.
Guide dogs and hearing dogs welcome.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Please bring your printed ticket or a digital copy to the event.
