Entangled (Pearson Park Bowling Pavilion, Hull)

Bowling PavillionKingston upon Hull, England
Friday, May 1 from 11 am to 3 pm GMT+1
Overview

Join us in a fun and informative workshop exploring the relationships between urban food growing and nature recovery.

Facilitated by local researcher (Claire Gribben) and artist (Lauren Saunders), expect to uncover our multi-species community either side of a shared lunch. We will also explore what nature recovery means to us, and what the implications may be to wider policy.

We are keen to understand your views whatever your level of expertise- you could be growing food at home, on a local allotment, or as part of a community growing group. Or maybe you work or volunteer in nature? Bring your ideas and your enthusiasm and let’s explore multi-species connections across Hull and East Riding together.

This is a free event, and lunch is provided along with refreshments.

The Bowling Pavillon is located on the Beverley Road Side of Pearson park, and is accessible via a variety of bus routes running along Beverley Road or Princes Avenue. There is also car parking spaces available around the park, as well as cycle racks. We are also keen to ensure people can access the event, so have a small budget available to help with travel to the site if needed (more information on this shortly).
