The topics over the 3 days will include introducing you to social enterprise, the different legal structures that are available for social enterprises, and cover the essential elements of good governance. You’ll start to develop a business model canvas for your idea, learn how to sell and market it to develop trading income, and finally an introduction to the finance options available to fund your start-up.

Session 2: This in-person event is designed to help you take your start-up to the next level. Don't miss out on this chance to connect with industry experts and fellow entrepreneurs. Get ready to learn, grow, and succeed! At this interactive workshop you'll continue to develop your social enterprise ideas.

Social Enterprise Accelerator

The Social Enterprise Accelerator (SEA) project offers a comprehensive support package to help Nottingham's social entrepreneurs and community innovators bring their new social enterprise ideas to life - or grow their existing Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisation.

Between April 2024 and March 2025 SEA will host training workshops, networking events and one-to-one/small group support sessions. All events will be posted here on Eventbrite.

SEA is a partnership between Nottingham Trent University and Nottingham Community and Voluntary Service. It is funded by UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF)
