The topics over the 3 days will include introducing you to social enterprise, the different legal structures that are available for social enterprises, and cover the essential elements of good governance. You’ll start to develop a business model canvas for your idea, learn how to sell and market it to develop trading income, and finally an introduction to the finance options available to fund your start-up.

Session 3: This session will enable you to focus on the putting together the business model canvas for your social enterprise start-up.

The Social Enterprise Accelerator (SEA) project offers a comprehensive support package to help Nottingham's social entrepreneurs and community innovators bring their new social enterprise ideas to life - or grow their existing Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisation.

Between April 2024 and March 2025 SEA will host training workshops, networking events and one-to-one/small group support sessions. All events will be posted here on Eventbrite.
