Epping Forest Conservation task

Join the Epping Forest Conservation Team for a practical conservation task at Copped Hall.

Together, we'll be removing ragwort from grazing areas to help prepare the site for cattle. Although ragwort is an important plant for many pollinating insects, it becomes highly poisonous to cattle. This task is an essential part of managing the site and ensuring the grazing areas remain safe.

All tools, equipment, and guidance will be provided on the day.

• Time: 9:30am – 2:00pm
• Location: Copped Hall

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear, and bring a packed lunch and plenty of water.

Getting to Copped Hall by car;

I recommend entering the following location into your GPS to get directions (https://w3w.co/voters.deputy.truth). This should hopefully make you approach from Crown Hill and bring you to the white gates. A keeper will be on the Gate, if you're running late please call in.

Continue until you reach Copped Hall on your left (https://w3w.co/nurses.bottom.chef). You can park at the car park.
