Analytics Day: British Library Conference Centre : 17th April 2018 
EPUG-UKI are holding a themed session all about analytics for Ex Libris products. 
We're lucky to have a member of ExLibris Professional Services (Jacobijn Kiel) and an ex-colleague (John Krug) running the training. Both are expert analytics users and trainers. 
We're asking attendees to send in use cases, analytics queries or specific report needs which you have. We're hoping realworld examples will make the day much more useful. e.g. "I want to be able to report on the length of time it takes from order to availability for both print and electronic resources. So I can see how long the journey takes through ordering, receipting, processing.  In order to check vendor performance and also local workflows. I want to see as much copy level information as possible (Including financial)"

An exact timetable for the day will depend on how many use cases we cover. A rough agenda below. While it won't be a hands on training session you may want to bring laptops if you want to join in with working on the examples.

<LI>~09:00-11:00-Analytics training from ExLibris -Dealing with data, concepts of data and data analysis; saving and sharing reports; working with prompts and functions; combining data from different subject areas.</LI>
<LI>~11:00-12:00-Group discussion about problems/needs for analytics development and training e.g. Are there any aspects of analytics with which you are struggling?  Are you doing anything fancy you would like to share? How can we help each other and new customers as they start to learn analytics?</LI>
<LI>~13:00-16:00 - More training/Use case demos - Jacobijn and John will demo some of your real world examples. </LI>
<LI>Lunch, tea and coffee will be provided - exact times will be known on the day.</LI>
