This half day course, interactive and practical course explores equality, diversity, and inclusion, the Equality Act 2010, protected characteristics, the impact of stereotyping, and practical strategies to promote inclusivity in organisations and communities.
By the end of this half day course, you will:
- Have a good understanding of what is meant my equality, diversity and inclusion and how that translates into practice.
- Improve knowledge of the Equality Act 2010 and recognise the different protected characteristics
- Understanding how diversity improves organisations and communities
- Reflect on how stereotyping works
- Identify strategies to increase equality, diversity and inclusion.
