Join us for the Equinox Potluck to close Living with the Living! Celebrate the season with reflections  and a unique food-sharing experience

Biodesign Collective is hosting an Equinox Potluck to close Living with the Living. Join us to reflect on this coming autumn season and the season that just passed, while indulging in a unique experience of savouring and sharing food. This experience will have a focus on the organisms at the base of life. The living entities that provide nourishment to all earthlings as they intertwine with different nutrient cycles of the Earth. The alchemists that transform energy into nourishment. Our fellow plants, mushrooms, bacteria and algae - the gatekeepers of the cycles of living and dying. This is not compulsory, but if you can and want, do bring a dish along made with plants, mushrooms, algae and/or bacteria (e.g. fermenting the other organisms). This can be:<ul><li>As simple or complicated as you wish.</li><li>Raw or cooked (as long as it’s ‘edible’).</li><li>A mixed-up course (dessert with a main?).</li><li>A completely new dish that questions the 'untold rules' of eating (eating with your skin? fruits in soups?)</li><li>Sweet, savoury, bitter, umami, sour, or all of them together!</li></ul>We welcome dishes that have influences from different cultures, as well as plain whole foods items only. We will have a microwave in the space where your item can be heated up if required. Please, make sure you make a note with all ingredients used in the dish or bring the label of the packaging of the ready item (to make potential allergens clear). Regardless if you bring a dish, or something to share, or not, you are welcome to participate in this gathering!
