Is ESG dead?
Undoubtedly ESG remains a key focus for the Board; the need to understand, work with regulation, and mitigate the International arena has brought a new onus on finding a pathway through constant change.
Hosted at The Claremont Hotel, and moderated by Ieda Gomes Yell, Chair of the ESG Subcommittee, we are pleased to welcome
Nigel Cheesley - Director Sustainability, Crown Dependencies & Country Head, Isle of Man for Lloyds International
Sarah Mercer - Co-founder and Director Earthscope
Simon Nicholas - Head of IoM practice Grant Thornton
Ty Smith - Founder & Principle Consultant Carn Advisory
Our panel will look at current regulation, investor expectations, consider ESG in respect to risk management and value creation, as well as analysing the shifts in stakeholder expectations across regions (Europe, US, APAC)
We'll also look at ESG in respect to our UNESCO Biosphere status - asking
- What does it mean to be a company operating in a UNESCO Biosphere?
- How businesses can align ESG strategies with the Biosphere pledge?
Format
Doors will open from 12:30pm, with an opportunity for attendees to grab a coffee and sandwich.
We'll get the panel discussion underway at 12:45pm to allow some time for Q&A before the event closes at 2pm
