ESP Information Session

Irish in Britain is the national representative body for the Irish in Britain. Working together with our 150 Irish cultural and community members we endeavour to raise the profile & contribution of the Irish community in Britain. Our mission is to achieve a confident, healthy & empowered Irish community participating fully in a multi-cultural Britain. The diversity of our membership is essential to this – covering activity in arts and culture, sport, Irish centres and welfare agencies. Irish in Britain

The Irish Government, through the Emigrant Support Programme, provides funding to non-profit organisations which support and connect the Irish community in Britain.  The Emigrant Support Programme is a tangible expression of the Irish Government's support of, and interest in, the global Irish community.   
Applications for the 2018 grant round will open on 15th January 2018 and close on 16th February 2018 at 5.30pm.  Under no circumstances will applications be accepted after this time.
To ensure that Irish in Britain members are best placed to demonstrate the quality of their services in the upcoming ESP Funding round, we are facilitating two Information Sessions (in Manchester and London) from the Irish Abroad Unit, Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade and presentations on innovative projects from fellow member organisations.  
Applications to the fund will be particularly welcome from organisations that have not applied before and or/new projects in geographic areas not previously assisted.  
These workshops are open to all organisations that wish to apply for ESP funding (members and non-members alike). We  highly recommend attending to hear about any new requirements for the next funding period. 
Please note: 
Please register for your place below. The workshops are free to attend but limited to a max of two people per organisation. Register today to guarantee your place.  These sessions are always over subscribed so please only book a place(s) if you are sure you can attend.  
There will be lunch provided for all, please outline any dietary requirements to agould@irishinbritain.org
