Qigong with Shal

Shal Kerr

Shal gained her Honours Degree in Physiotherapy in 1999 and a further Masters in 2009, working extensively as a Clinical Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in the NHS and privately. Her passion for anatomy and the workings of the human body led her to train with the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute) in 2007 and then onto completion of a 200 hour Certified Yoga Teacher Training in 2013. Since then, Shal has completed further training in Yin Yoga, Restorative yoga, Yoga for Menopause, Hypnobirthing, Meditation and Yoga Nidra. Shal has also worked as an acupuncturist for over 20 years and practices the ancient art of Qigong (Tai Chi); one of the five pillars of Traditional Chinese medicine. Having completed immersion trainings in Qigong with Mimi Kuo-Deemer, Shal underwent a further 200 hours training with Forest Rock Qigong, achieving Qigong Instructor Certification from Teacher Nick Loffree.
