Evaluating Anti-Prejudice Projects

Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights

This capacity building session is for organisations who are involved in anti-prejudice work. It will focus on developing effective, proportionate approaches to evaluating anti-prejudice projects or interventions, and will be especially useful for organisations with more limited experience of evaluation. 
The session will draw on new evaluation guidance being developed for the Equality and Human Rights Commission by the Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights, due for publication in Spring 2017.
In July 2016, the Commission published a report called ‘<A HREF="https://www.equalityhumanrights.com/cy/node/5696" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Prejudice and unlawful behaviour: exploring levers for change</A>’, setting out how prejudice relates to unlawful discrimination, harassment and identity-based violence. The report identified a need for better evaluation on which anti-prejudice interventions are effective and why. In response to this, the Commission has asked the Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights to develop guidance and training with a focus on enabling smaller organisations to evaluate interventions in a way that is proportionate and realistic.
Three capacity building sessions are being held in Glasgow, <A HREF="https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/evaluating-anti-prejudice-projects-registration-31120083006" TARGET="_blank" REL="noopener noreferrer">London</A> and <A HREF="https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/evaluating-anti-prejudice-projects-registration-31023178161" TARGET="_blank" REL="noopener noreferrer">Cardiff</A>.

Limited places are available and we may have to prioritise space allocation, so your booking will be confirmed personally by the organisers.
