A Sensory Experience by Alchème Studio

Step into a quiet corner of Hackney Downs, within the space of In My Neighbourhood Apothecary, for an evening where time slows and tea becomes an experience.

Inspired by the Chinese and Japanese Way of Tea, this special Journal Edition invites you to pause, reflect, and set intentions for the year ahead, whether through writing, reading, or gentle conversation.

What's included?

You’ll be able to select from our curated menu of fine teas and enjoy a serving of a welcoming brew, followed by a traditional Gong Fu ritual.

Each ticket includes 2 unique teas, served traditionally and accompanied by seasonal japanese-inspired vegan treat designed to complement the flavour and mood of the evening.

You’re welcome to bring your own journal, or choose our special ticket option, which includes the Alchème Journal and a set of thoughtfully curated prompt cards. Together, they offer a gentle invitation into self-discovery, self-expression, and intention-setting for the year ahead.

We will also have savoury and sweet canapes available for purchase.

Our intention is to create a space that feels like an exhale, a sensory journey where scent, taste, and sound intertwine.
