Ever wanted to try Patchwork?
Come and get creative trying your hand at Patchwork in a fun in-person session!
My name is Sarah and I'm passionate about patchwork. I'm running two craft sessions this autumn at The Bakehouse on Grantchester Road CB2 9LH, for anyone who would like to try their hand at a patchwork project. Both projects will use rotary cutting and machine piecing; while cutters and mats are provided, please bring a sewing machine. Materials are supplied. The workshops are fundraisers for the church’s reimagining project.
Saturday 14 November 10am to 5pm – make a Draughts Game Board, cost £60 (plus booking fee)
Make a two-sided games board. Beginners are welcome and materials supplied (excluding games pieces).Please bring a sewing machine and a packed lunch for this full day workshop.
Saturday 28 November 1pm to 5pm – make a Christmas Stocking, cost £45 (plus booking fee)
Make a uniquely personal Christmas stocking. This workshop is suitable for those with experience of patchwork although beginners are also welcome. Materials are supplied but if sewers have Christmassy orphan blocks, this is a good project to utilise left over pieces!Please bring a sewing machine.
On-road parking is available close by.
