About your Speaker

Dev Chakrabarti is a Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for Concentrated Global & International Growth, a fundamental set of long strategies that take a concentrated, research driven approach to investing in companies globally. The strategies focus on compounding capital at high rates of return, while employing dynamic risk management and a time-tested valuation discipline to high quality growth investing. The funds invest in mid-to-large market cap companies focused solely on the quality-growth style factor across US, Europe and Asia as applicable, with an emphasis developing thought leadership in key themes of focus. AB acquired all the Concentrated Growth strategies of WPS Advisors in 2013 as well as the investment team that Dev leads. Dev joined WP Stewart in 2005 as a member of the European equity research and portfolio management team and moved to New York in 2008 to focus on Global portfolios.

Dev began his 25+ year career as an M&A analyst at Citigroup and, prior to joining WP Stewart, he was an equity analyst at J.P Mogan where he specialized in researching European Technology stocks. Dev received an Masters in Finance (MiF) from London Business School and BSc Hons in Economics from the University of Bristol.
