A panel session discussing the role of mapping music, arts & culture ecosystems, and audiences, in making informed, evidence-led policy

Panellist Dr Patrycja Rozbicka is co-ordinator of the Live Music Mapping Project, and a senior lecturer in politics and international relations at Aston University, Birmingham, where her research focuses on the influence and impact that special interest groups, lobbyists and stakeholders have on music and creative industries policy.

Panellist Jett Glozier is global head of infrastructure at world-renowned music, culture and creative economy consultancy, Sound Diplomacy, where his specialist areas of expertise span across cultural hubs, stadiums & arenas, and placemaking cultural districts.

The session will be chaired by Causing a Scene director Oli Steadman, a multi-instrumentalist, founding member of beloved Oxford band Stornoway, artist manager, producer, conservation advocate and, as a certified data scientist, someone who, pre-pandemic, oversaw the mapping of every UK music venue as co-founder of music tech start-up Tigmus.
