Description

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) and NHS Arden & GEM CSU are working in partnership to host an exciting exploration of how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is set to transform Population Health Management.

Held at the Trust’s prestigious new Innovation Hub, the event will take place on Monday 18 November 2019 between 3pm and 7pm, bringing together speakers from industry and the NHS to share the current and future potential of AI for Population Health approaches.

Adopting and evolving Population Health Management (PHM) is a global ambition for most health economies. While AI and machine learning, increasingly used in a diverse range of areas from keeping people well to supporting clinical decision-making, have received significant media attention. When these two initiatives come together, they deliver a powerful mechanism for a fundamental shift in personalised healthcare.

At this event you’ll hear about what is already happening inside the NHS but also where technology and computational machine learning is starting to take us.

We are delighted to have secured Chris Gough, Intel’s General Manager: Worldwide Health and Life Sciences from the United States, as our keynote speaker, who will be sharing how predictive analytics can be enabled by machine learning.

Following with a series of short presentations, breakout sessions and demonstrations, the event will offer a stimulating tour of exciting new technologies and projects including:

  • A national approach to population segmentation

  • NHSX’s national AI lab

  • De-hyping AI (delivered by Wolfram).

Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with presenting organisations, on their exhibition stands, over refreshments at the end of the event. Places at this event will be prioritised for those working within the NHS.
