Module 1: Clean & prepare data with Power Query
This module introduces you to common problems with raw data: inconsistent formats, blank rows, messy headers, and shows how to fix them quickly using Power Query. You’ll learn how to import files, tidy and reshape data, and save those steps as reusable queries so you never have to start from scratch again.
Module 2: Explore data with Tables & formulas
Here we focus on building reliable reports with Excel Tables and dynamic arrays. You’ll discover how structured references make formulas clearer, and how functions like SORT, UNIQUE, and FILTER can replace complex workarounds. The goal is to create summaries that automatically expand when your data grows.
Module 3: Visualise findings with charts
In this module, you’ll learn how to choose and build the right chart for your message. We’ll link charts directly to dynamic ranges so they update automatically, and add simple interactivity with slicers or drop-downs. The emphasis is on visuals that communicate insights clearly without unnecessary clutter.
