Newlyn Art Gallery & The Exchange

Join us for the opening of Liberties at The Exchange with a feast of taste and colour from Lafafa Catering Company. Guests will be treated to a three course taster menu accompanied by a glass of wine, This supper forms part of our exhibition preview event for; Liberties; a snapshot of the evolving conversations that have contributed to the mapping of a woman’s place in British society through work by 24 women artists. Body, femininity, sex, motherhood, economic and political status are explored through film, photography, sculpture, performance and painting.

Lamb Shawarma - leg of lamb marinated in spices and slow cooked
Spiced local mackerel fillets (F)
Shawarma roasted vegetables (V)
 
All the above served with;
orange, olive and roast beetroot salad with orange water dressing, freekeh with fresh herbs, warm chickpea puree
 
Pudding
spiced quince & almond pudding with vanilla ice cream
 
 
V-Vegan options available if pre booked
 
As always we are able to cater for varying dietary requirments, and a vegan option will be available. Guests can choose to book for 6:30,7:30 or 8:30 sittings.
