Exibhition INTERWOVEN SPRING

Exibhition INTERWOVEN SPRING

Methodist Central Hall WestminsterLondon, England
Friday, Feb 6 from 1 pm to 10 pm GMT
Overview

Dialoguing Heritage: Women Artists and Contemporary Practice

As algorithms reshape production, we reconsider traditional craft and the contemporary body.

Women artists navigate between craft heritage and modernity through embodied practice. From lacquer to ceramics, from Nüshu script to textiles, their techniques span from Southwest China's highlands to the Jiangnan waterways. In daily making, these artists work within the condition of compressed modernity: where inherited knowledge, rapid industrialization, and digital futures coexist, interweave, and regenerate in condensed time.

During Spring Festival, Interwoven Spring explores vitality through making: from objects, from women's embodied labor, from craft as living transformation.
