Experiential Workshop-Sand Tray

Experiential Workshop-Sand Tray

Overview

Hands-on sand tray workshop with Rachel Allen-explore stories, symbols & insight through creative, experiential play. Discover what emerges

Join Rachel Allen for a hands-on experiential workshop exploring the power of sand tray as a creative and reflective practice. Using miniature figures, natural objects, and symbolic placement in sand, participants will be guided to create visual scenes that express inner experiences, emotions, and narratives that may be difficult to put into words.

Sand tray work draws on principles from expressive arts, depth psychology, and somatic awareness. In this supportive and curious environment, Rachel will introduce the foundations of sand tray practice and guide participants through a series of gentle exercises to explore imagery, symbolism, and personal meaning-making.

This workshop is designed to be accessible whether you are new to sand tray or already familiar with creative therapeutic approaches. Through guided reflection and optional sharing, participants will have the opportunity to deepen self-awareness, connect with intuition, and experience how working with the hands and imagination can open new pathways of insight.

The session will include a brief introduction to sand tray, individual experiential time creating in the sand, and group reflection. All materials will be provided.

No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
