Experiments with Minecraft

Fab Lab Coventry is part of a global network of fab labs - a network of places to meet and make together. Fab Lab Coventry, located in the heart of Coventry City Centre, set up in partnership with Coventry University, University of Warwick and Coventry City Council, is a community space designed by the community, running workshops and classes specific to your desires and open for you to make using our wood and digital tech on offer.

Fab Lab Coventry

This event is designed for young people aged 8-16 who are interested in using Minecraft like coding / better understanding mods. These events will fuse together coding and building in order to create experiments that will create a range of mods in Minecraft using the Raspberry Pi computer. The session will last 1.5 hours and each participant will get a certificate of completion at the end. The theme for the first session of experiments is "building with code". We will use Python to create structures at the touch of a button.
Tickets are priced at £5 per person, this will need to be paid prior to or on the day of the event. 
Spaces need only to be booked for the young persons attending.  
Please note, all young people will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times whilst in the FabLab.
