Exploring Audio Group Denmark
Join us for a deep dive into the world of Audio Group Denmark.
Earlier this year, I spent some time at the Audio Group Denmark (AGD) factory. To be honest, I went in with a healthy dose of skepticism, but seeing their engineering process firsthand was a bit of an eye-opener. Their approach to things like noise floor and resonance control is quite different from what we typically see in the industry, and the results—specifically in terms of musicality—really stood out to me.
Since that trip, we’ve brought their full lineup—Børresen, Aavik, Ansuz, and Axxess—to the shop. Now, we want to set them up properly at the Village Hotel to show you what they can do.The AgendaWe’ve structured the day as an incremental "build" so you can hear exactly what each component contributes to the system.
- 10:00 AM: Arrival & Introductions (with coffee and refreshments)
- 10:15 AM: Starting with the Axxess integrated range.
- 10:45 AM: Testing the impact of Ansuz mains distribution and network switches.
- 11:15 AM: A deep dive into Børresen Loudspeakers and resonance control (Sortz/Darkz).
- 12:30 PM: Complimentary Buffet Lunch
- 1:00 PM: Stepping up to Aavik amplification and higher-tier Ansuz cables.
- 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Targeted A/B testing: Network switches, cable upgrades, and flagship Børresen setups.
- 3:45 PM: Q&A with the Fanthorpes team.
Why it's worth the trip
This is a relaxed, no-pressure day for anyone interested in the technical side of system building. We’re not just playing music; we’re demonstrating how these specific engineering choices actually change the sound in the room.

Spaces are limited so everyone gets a decent listening seat. Please reply to this email or call the shop to let us know if you can make it.
