An introduction to immersive media for filmmakers, combining talks, demos, no-code platforms, and hands-on group activities.

An evening for filmmakers &amp; film enthusiasts curious about Extended Reality (XR) and immersive storytelling. During this session the group will explore how immersive media can expand cinematic language, from 360° film and virtual production to interactive storytelling formats. Through live demos, discussion, and practical exercises, we’ll examine how traditional film practice can evolve into immersive experiences.

<h3>Together, we will:</h3><ul><li>Explore different types of immersive media and XR formats.</li><li>Experience festival-selected immersive film demos.</li><li>Reimagine scenes from existing films as immersive environments.</li><li>Experiment with accessible no-code tools for immersive storytelling.</li></ul>

<h3>By the end of the session, participants will:</h3><ul><li>Understand key immersive storytelling formats.</li><li>Experience at least two XR approaches and tools.</li><li>Leave with practical ideas to apply immersive techniques in their own film projects.</li></ul>
