Exploring Memory
Only you can write your story.
But where would you start? And what would give you the inspiration to actually put pen to paper, put words on the page…?
Over this six week course, we will offer a range of exercises to get you thinking about your story, on how to get your ideas and memories onto the page, and on how to discover your inner investigative journalist to tease out a vibrant record from even the darkest corners of your memory.
Lead by Gerard Winter-Hughes, creative director of The Word Association, the course is open to all. Gerard brings a wealth of experience from a long career in magazine publishing, where he enjoyed many years in a variety of roles, telling stories through words, images and creative use of the page.
His recent work has increasingly focussed on themes of memory and nostalgia, and some of this will be utilised on the course.
Would anybody know your story? Do you believe that anybody else knows who you are, what you do, what you think…?
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A COURSE AND PARTICIPANTS WILL BENEFIT FROM ATTENDING ALL 6 SESSIONS (BUYING ONE TICKET GIVES YOU ACCESS TO THE FULL 6-WEEK COURSE):
