Description

Exploring models of accommodation and support for newly recognised refugees

May 24th, 10-4pm

St George’s Conference Centre, Leeds

The event will explore refugee accommodation models within the network and is aimed at refugee accommodation providers, both emergency and long-term, as well as those exploring how, when and if to get involved.

Activities throughout the day will address how providers can effectively meet needs, develop capacity and work with others. Sessions will include input from Local Authorities and Housing Associations as well as NACCOM members.

Alongside workshops full of innovative ideas and top tips, there will be an opportunity to learn more about changes to support pathways during the move-on period, with a representative from the Home Office speaking on the ‘Post Grant Appointment Service’.

Tickets for the event start from just £10, and will be on sale until the 16th May.

There are also a limited number of tickets available for people with no recourse to public funds, please contact us if you wish to know more.
