Professor Annie Tindley

The aim of the workshop is concerned with the establishment of a network of researchers interested in technological innovation from a plurality of disciplinary and theoretical standpoints. In particular, it intends to foster inter- and cross-disciplinary dialogue between, on the one hand, the humanities and social sciences, and, on the other, a broad spectrum of subjects including, but not limited to, engineering, design, medical sciences, and information technologies. The network will also be extended to non-academic stakeholders based in the Northeast, including heritage organisations, museums and archives and interested parties in the private sector.
