Exploring the fate and transport of PFAS chemicals in soil and water systems
This one-day workshop will gather researchers, technicians and stakeholderswith a current working interest in theinteractions of PFAS chemicals with the environment.
The workshop will facilitate the creation of a new networking group for interested parties that will enable an integrated approach to comprehensively address the issues of PFAS contamination in the environment, specifically:
- the fate and transport of PFAS chemicals in soil and water systems,
- the detection and reactions of the PFAS within these systems,
- their interaction with biological systems.
The day will be split into two parts with the morning focused on interactive presentations from some of the organisers and the afternoon a series of interactive workshops.
