In this virtual event, we’ll be joined by Koji Muto, who’ll set the context of the green hydrogen production landscape. Ki Hydrogen is a deep-tech climate venture focused on hydrogen production through direct electrolysis of liquefied waste biomass.
The demand for hydrogen has more than tripled since 1975. Production of hydrogen has lead to yearly emissions of around 830 million tonnes of CO2. That's on par with the combined CO2 emissions of the UK and Indonesia.
Koji discusses generating green hydrogen and how to leverage biomass electrolysis technology. Ki Hydrogen demonstrates in the lab the capability to produce green hydrogen from biomass waste, showcasing a reduction in required energy.
Don’t worry if you can’t make it, everyone who registers for the event will receive a link to the replay following the event, so that you can watch in your own time.
We look forward to welcoming you.
Speaker bio:
Koji has experience leading teams in deep-tech. His project development scope covered one of the largest hydrogen projects in Europe. He was an early hire at a small modular nuclear reactor startup and at a direct-air-capture startup.
