Join artist Rachel Stanton for an inspiring 3-hour watercolour and Indian ink workshop, creatively responding to the powerful landscape work on show in our current exhibition Emma Stibbon RA: Melting Ice | Rising Tides.
This workshop begins with a guided visit to the exhibition, using the original works as a springboard for creative exploration.
Back in the studio, you’ll learn expressive techniques using watercolour and ink: tonal studies, texture creation, washes, splattering, scraping, granulation and more. Whether you’re new to watercolour or looking to expand your skills, this is an opportunity to play, explore, and respond emotionally to the natural world through materials.
All materials are provided and no prior experience is necessary. Find out more about Rachel’s work at www.rachelstantonartist.co.uk
