Demanding to be expressed through an array of mediums, the reified objects succumb to the ever-present tendency to become a body of work, a piece, that is something more than plainly themselves. Or perhaps they remain content with their existence and it is the human intellect that twists their nature and tarnishes them with the obsessive longing to become better, supreme, and above all others. Objects are subdued to our interests and interpretation; they are dragged away from the peaceful serenity of solitary existence. Nonetheless, it is the excitement that makes it all worthwhile. Thrown into the discourse created by humankind they become carriers of ideas, nodes for the associations to be attached to, to arouse our need for fulfilment. "One of my main interests lies in the analysis of how physical entities may be positioned within - and what seems to be much harder, outside - of the wider human context. By creating categories, attempts are made to come closer to knowing, understanding. I devote myself to finding ways of altering forms that surround me and injecting them with personal influence. It is all about the play and not knowing, it is about diving in and finding the way out. Continuous fabrication is an essential part of my methodology. It sustains the interest, feeds the curiosity, and, most importantly, actualizes subliminal impulses to resurface that, which has remained hidden for far too long." "My structure of work boils down to expressing concepts based on metaphysical questions through carefully chosen materials and objects. I get attracted by those specific forms that remind me of bodies or other innate structures found in my surroundings, as well as the natural world. I find satisfaction in dealing with nearly amorphous masses, revisioning their contours, and manipulating their tangible presence."
