What is the accessibility like?

To get to the studio there are two flights of stairs, unfortunately there is no lift. An access code to enter the building will be sent prior to the event.

What time can I get there from?

Accepted Answer

The access code will give you access to the building 30 minutes prior to the event. There is a waiting area with sofas, chairs, and a kitchen. If the studio is not booked before the workshop we can enter the studio early. You will be informed on the email with the access information.

Question 3

Which studio will it be in?

Accepted Answer

It will be in the performance studio which is at the end of the corridor, just past the kitchen.

Question 4

What if I feel self concious?

Accepted Answer

That’s completely normal! This is a judgment-free space where everyone is encouraged to move at their own pace. The goal is self-expression, not performance. With practice, this feeling tends to reduce.

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

A water bottle, an open mind, and a willingness to explore movement! It can also be helpful to bring a notebook if you’d like to jot down reflections.

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and sweat. Bare feet or socks are recommended.

Is there physical contact?

Accepted Answer

Yes, some partner work and often physical contact will be included. Consent and personal boundaries are always respected — you’re free to opt out of anything that doesn’t feel right for you.
