In this workshop, you will:
- Be introduced to oil painting materials and how to use them.
- Learn how to prepare your surface and set up your palette.
- Explore colour mixing, brushwork and expressive mark-making.
- Build up your painting in layers, working from loose ideas to more developed forms.
- Use colour, texture and composition to create an expressive artwork.
- Receive guidance throughout, with space to experiment and develop your own style.
- Leave with your own completed oil painting and more confidence in your creative process.
