Sound Bath Experience &amp; WorkshopCalm the senses and allow yourself to unwind with a Sound Bath Experience delivered by Sound Bath facilitator Tessa Ann from The Sound Healing Spa.Enjoy some mindfulness and relaxation as you bathe in this therapeutic sound experience of Tibetan bowls, crystal singing bowls, gongs, voice, and percussion. This is an immersive, restorative experience to help lift your spirits and refresh your mind.Please leave your phone and your worries behind, wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat, pillow, and cosy blanketTessa will combine her Sound Bath Experience with a fun workshop and talk about the sounds she plays. With nibbles and refreshments provided by The Sustainable coffee company included in your ticket. You may even learn a bit about yourself through sound.What is a Sound Bath?A sound bath is a relaxation session where participants get comfortable on the floor or seated if you prefer.You will be invited to deeply relax and enjoy the sounds played by Tessa Ann.Sounds played include Tibetan Singing bowls, drums and percussion instruments and voice.What is Therapeutic Sound?Therapeutic sound, also known as sound healing or sound therapy, is a form of vibrational healing or vibrational medicine.Sound is said to be the fundamental nature of reality, with the idea that every form (animate or inanimate), including ourselves, has its own unique vibrational frequency. Aches, pains, illness and disease may be experienced in the body, when we feel out of balance.The practice of therapeutic sound, like gong baths, uses sound vibration to help relax and reduce stress in the body. When you are more relaxed and less stressed it is easier for your body to activate its own natural healing mechanisms.Sound can be used as a therapeutic practice to help create a feeling of balance and a sense of wellbeing on the physical, emotional, mental or spiritual aspects of ourselves.<h3></h3><h3>Belfast Drug and Alcohol Connection Service is a project within Extern NI, we promote and raise awareness of drugs and alcohol concerns within communities and to local and statutory agencies. We do this though awareness training, signposting people onto services available and hosting a number of events, campaigns and initiatives. We are currently promoting Dry January and Feel Good February across Northern Ireland by hosting a range of local and online activities to get people to think about their alcohol intake and look at alternative such as fitness, cooking, mindfulness and socializing. </h3><h3>This sound bath &amp; workshop is subsidised by Extern. </h3>
