Eye Flow is a live music and film project where experimental musicians come together to improvise a live score to a feature film or a set of short movies. The project seeks to investigate new meanings and aesthetics that can arise when the soundtrack is a spontaneous reaction to the image, substituting the original soundtrack and sometimes even intentionally contrasting it.Tectonics, a film by Peter Bo Rappmund, is a survey of the physical qualities and metaphysical quandaries of the United States-Mexico border. It follows the boundary and its immediate surrounding topography incrementally from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean. Special thanks to Peter for letting us screen his movie at this edition of Eye Flow.Experimental Electronic musician and producer Pouya Ehsaei (From the Lips to the Moon, Ariwo, Parasang) and jazz saxophonist Binker Golding will perform live, improvising to the movie. The screening will be followed by a jam session by the musicians. London-based producer, DJ and NTS radio host, Nymity will be on the decks throughout the evening.
