Discover the fascinating world of CNC machining at our hands-on workshop in the Fab Lab! Join us on Saturday 5 August 10:00-12:30 to learn the basic skills of designing and operating an entry-level CNC machine and craft your own bespoke or personalized wooden bookmark. This session is for those aged 12 and above. This workshop is suitable for beginners, and our expert instructor will guide you every step of the way. Join us for a fun-filled learning experience that will ignite your passion for CNC machining! Spaces are limited and booking is essential. ----------------Our workshops involve a design and make process. You will be guided through a design project in Easel software and then be taught and shown the CNC process to complete your finished product.Tickets are £10.00 per person. Any questions? Any child between 12 and 15 years must have an adult accompany them during the workshop.Refunds - our policy is no refunds. If you are unable to attend, please let us know in case we have a waiting list. If we can resell your ticket, we will refund you (minus the Eventbrite fee). If we cannot resell your ticket, then no refund will be issued. Late Arrival - It will not be possible to join the workshop if you arrive more than 15 minutes late. By this time, we are getting into the technical content of the workshop and it's not possible to go back over what we have already covered.
